Saga of Westmarch Wiki

Narrator: The delvers have travelled south of Polisberg, circling a lake-filled valley between two mountain ranges. Now they have crossed onto a small, rock and fern covered island.
Narrator: They they met a flock of harpies. Most of the group has been questioning the harpies in exchange for some food that Marik has gone off to capture.
Narrator: A few minutes ago, Wolfgang spotted some harpies flying to the mainland near Marik, and gave chase.
GM: Any other pertinent details?
Minnizig: I like to mention that the harpies are apparently fae, don't seem to like the druid, only eat cooked food, and grow more beautiful the more cooked food they eat.
Minnizig: And are very strongly motivated by their stomachs.
GM: Sofia is the only harpy currently near the delvers on the island, and is looking almost attractive - gull grey and dull brass feathers, slightly irregular features, not as dirty as she was.
GM: Right!
GM: Wolfgang, are you continuing after the harpies? Sofia dispatched one of the ones you were talking to to chase after the others, and they're all much faster than you are.
Beltarne: Could I get any rollers/hit locations/etc pls?
Minnizig: one sec!
Wolfgang: no, I'd really intended to go up to keep lookout for more of them coming in from elsewhere
Marik: Speed/Range, Position, and Hit Location tables sent.
Beltarne: danke
Minnizig: eheh, so he's got a few copies then.
Wolfgang: and maybe go after Marik, but I have no clue where he is since I think it's been some time since he left
GM: Well enough. How high are you and roughly where? Marik is a few hundred yards inland, the rest of you are just on the shore of the island.
Wolfgang: however high I need to be to see the whole island, and a bit towards the mainland
Marik: (And stealthy, I hope, since tramping around and being obvious makes it hard to catch game.)
GM: Good points. Marik, roll Stealth.
GM: Wolfgang, roll Vision.
Ghazeb: How long have we been standing around?
Marik: Heh, GCA crashed. I think stealth is 19.
Marik: Stealth: [3d6.skill(19,0)] => [2,1,3] = 6 vs (19) or less Critical Success! by 13 [B556]
Wolfgang: Vision (13) [3d6.skill(13,0)] => [2,4,3] = 9 vs (13) or less Success! by 4
Wolfgang: see, Marik will be fine!
GM: Alright, Wolfgang has lost sight of the harpies and has no idea where Marik is.
GM: Anyone doing anything else?
Marik: (Stealth is indeed 19.)
Ghazeb: If we are standing about long I need to roll an impulsive roll I would think.
Minnizig: I believe I'm stalling the harpies with us still and possibly still pumping them for information.
Marik: Why? We're taking action.
Marik: Impulsive is 'must do something'; 'something' can be 'have a conversation'.
Minnizig: Although at the moment I can't think of extra things to ask them OOC.
Ghazeb: If you are the talking type.
GM: Nah, Ghazeb rolled a while back.
GM: Ghazeb, Thasos, Minnizig, and Beltarne need to roll Hearing-2.
Ghazeb: Hearing (11) [3d6.skill(11,-2)] => [3,1,1] = 5 vs (9) or less Success! by 4
Minnizig: Hearing (13) [3d6.skill(13,-2)] => [6,2,5] = 13 vs (11) or less Failure! by 2
Thasos: Hearing (13) [3d6.skill(13,-2)] => [6,5,6] = 17 vs (11) or less Critical Failure! [B556]
Narrator: The harpies continue to talk, alluding to the way the delvers are very generous but the harpies are too and the harpies could be very generous if the delvers wanted to do them some other favors.
whispering to Ghazeb, You hear the whisper of wings and movement in the trees west-south-west of you.
Beltarne: Hearing (14) [3d6.skill(14,-2)] => [4,3,6] = 13 vs (12) or less Failure! by 1
** Ghazeb turns west-south/west and poimts. Whats that? **
Beltarne: ((Belated hearing check!)
** Minnizig is intrigued, and a naturally helpful person as well! **
Harpy (Sofia): "Nothing I should think. What was what?"
Ghazeb: "I hear wings on the wind"
Ghazeb: "There in the trees."
Harpy (Sofia): "Oh... that was probably just some birds flying around."
** Minnizig glances around, presuming there are more harpies. Or evil eagles of evil. **
** Thasos looks up and readies his weapon instinctively. **
** Beltarne is impressed, "really? all I hear is the wind." **
Harpy (Sofia): "Truly, there is no need to be upset or worried."
** Ghazeb moves to get a better look. **
** Thasos scowls at Ghazeb for making a fuss. **
Minnizig: Detect Lies (11) [3d6.skill(11,0)] => [5,3,5] = 13 vs (11) or less Failure! by 2
Minnizig: Luck.
Minnizig: Detect Lies (11) [3d6.skill(11,0)] => [4,4,6] = 14 vs (11) or less Failure! by 3
Minnizig: Detect Lies (11) [3d6.skill(11,0)] => [4,1,5] = 10 vs (11) or less Success! by 1
** Minnizig squints at the dice. **
whispering to Marik, You hear movement in the trees to the west. You're currently doing trapper things and don't have your bow in hand.
Beltarne: ((Didn't they promise to answer honestly?))
GM: Yes.
whispering to Minnizig, If Sofia is lying, she's too subtle for you to catch
** Ghazeb looks around slowly. **
Minnizig: That assumes the correct denominations of "honest" and "promise"
Ghazeb: "Ghazeb hears trouble, he can feel it."
Minnizig: I'm an immensely paranoid person when dealing with fae. Probably from playing Changeling.
Thasos: ((there's a third word being ill-defined))
Minnizig: true. "answer" is also insufficiently precise.
Narrator: As Ghazeb steps south, he spots 3 harpies, clustered around a tree and staring at him with great focus.
** Ghazeb points There!! **
Ghazeb: "Ghazeb is so on the ball, not like Thasos at all."
** Ghazeb pulls his sword. **
Narrator: In the distance, the delvers hear a faint, haunting melody. Except for Marik, who hears it nearby, for behind the trees to the west.
Harpy (Sofia): "No violence! We mean you no harm!"
** Thasos walks over to see what Ghazeb is investigating. **
Ghazeb: Overconfidence (12 or less) [3d6.skill(12,0)] => [5,3,1] = 9 vs (12) or less Success! by 3
Minnizig: "What do you mean, then?"
Marik: Bespell me once with song, shame on you. Bespell me twice with song, shame on me. I'd like to plug my ears. With mud, if necessary.
Marik: (I'll be washing THAT out for a week)
** Thasos looks back and forth between Sofia and the other harpies suspiciously. **
Beltarne: ((Washing? Marik?))
Wolfgang: wait, how many harpies are on the island?
GM: Upwards of half a dozen.
Minnizig: Unknown how many live there precisely.
Wolfgang: the ones on the island are not singing though, just the ones after Marik?
** Ghazeb growls at the harpies. **
GM: The singing is in the distance.
** Ghazeb marks the closest tree and returns to the others. **
Narrator: The delvers faintly hear commotion in the distance. Except for Wolfgang, who hears it a bit better, and Marik, who sees a half dozen harpies, black and tarnished and filthy, flying over the trees at him, shouting angrily.
Minnizig: (( brb grabbing a blanket ))
Narrator: Wolfgang sees a half dozen harpies burst out of see trees, heading for a green spot in a clearing.
Wolfgang: "Going to see if they found Marik, they're using their songs for something over there!"

1) YOUR TURN NOW:: [29] Ghazeb
(on deck: [28] Thasos)

Ghazeb: wait
Ghazeb: ##

2) YOUR TURN NOW:: [28] Thasos
(on deck: [28] Marik)

Marik: I don't suppose I'm allowed to use the 'dive for cover' rules? :P
Marik: (That is, the 'dive for stealth' thing out of DF.)
GM: Sure, but you're being ambushed, so you roll at -10.
Minnizig: (( back. And warmer. ))
Marik: Stealth: [3d6.skill(19,-10)] => [2,6,3] = 11 vs (9) or less Failure! by 2
Marik: Luck!
Marik: Stealth: [3d6.skill(19,-10)] => [6,1,4] = 11 vs (9) or less Failure! by 2
Marik: Stealth: [3d6.skill(19,-10)] => [3,2,3] = 8 vs (9) or less Success! by 1
Marik: Bamf.
Minnizig: Woo?
GM: Thasos?
Thasos: wait
Thasos: ##

3) YOUR TURN NOW:: [28] Marik
(on deck: [25] Beltarne)

GM: Since you were just grabbing mud, like literally, your bow is not in your hands.
Marik: Absolutely.
Marik: But I'm hidden.
Marik: (one step behind the nearest enemy, in fact, unless you've changed that)
GM: There you go.
Marik: Harpies have no altitude set. Ground level?
GM: 3 yards up.
Marik: That kind of nixes my 'grab her' plan.
GM: They are descending.
Marik: Fast-draw a knife and Wait. If one of them comes into reach, telegraph a one-handed grapple and put the knife to her throat.
Marik: Because I am Not a Nice Man.
Marik: Fast-Draw (Knife): [3d6.skill(14,0)] => [6,6,3] = 15 vs (14) or less Failure! by 1
Marik: Oh, balls.
Marik: I've drawn a knife!
Marik: ###

4) YOUR TURN NOW:: [25] Beltarne
(on deck: [24] Wolfgang)

Beltarne: Ready Axe!
Beltarne: ###

5) YOUR TURN NOW:: [24] Wolfgang
(on deck: [24] Minnizig)

Wolfgang: fly towards the harpies, max speed
Wolfgang: how far is it?
GM: Alright, you'll be there in 3 rounds. 1/3

6) YOUR TURN NOW:: [24] Minnizig
(on deck: [29] Ghazeb)

Minnizig: Shout "Someone tell me what the heck they're doing before there's a terrible accident!"
Minnizig: All out Defense (Dual)

7) YOUR TURN NOW:: [24] Harpies
(on deck: [29] Ghazeb)

Ghazeb: ((Hay, I was going to shout whats going on on my turn.))
Thasos: ((talking is a free action))
Harpy (Sofia): "You're drawing weapons! Why?" Flap away a bit.
Narrator: Beautiful singing emerges from behind the trees to the west of Minnizig.
Minnizig: ... Dual was dumb, I'm not wielding anything.
Minnizig: Can I take the bonus to dodge instead?
GM: Minnizig: yes
Minnizig: Yay.
Harpy (Metria): Lands next to Marik. "Where did he go? Hurry! Find him!"
Harpy (Eidia): Lands with Skliria Minor and Poniria Micro, singing some more.
Minnizig: "We're frightened, your friends went chasing off after my friend, and they didn't make the bargain with us."
GM: songs 1/3.

1) YOUR TURN NOW:: [29] Ghazeb
(on deck: [28] Thasos)

Ghazeb: "Ghazeb is not frightened! Just unsure of whats going on."

Thasos: wait
Thasos: ##

3) YOUR TURN NOW:: [28] Marik
(on deck: [25] Beltarne)

Thasos: ((in a way that, even))
** Ghazeb dances to the singing to put everone at ease. **
Marik: Step into close combat, Telegraph a grapple on Metria and put the knife to her throat.
Marik: B371 seems to say there's no penalty for initiating a one-handed grapple, I just don't get to claim +5 for using both hands if she attempts to break free.
GM: Roll it.
Marik: And I have no idea how 'knife at the throat' factors into that.
Marik: Grapple (Telegraphed): [3d6.skill(13,+4)] => [5,1,3] = 9 vs (17) or less Success! by 8
Marik: "I don't want to have to hurt you. Stop singing and start explaining why you're here."
Harpy (Metria): "Awk!"
Minnizig: Either an Armed Grapple with the knife, which probably isn't what you're doing as you're not using the KNIFE to put the hold on her, or a Wait with the trigger "I will totally cut you if you do anything"
Minnizig: both sound good
Minnizig: Possibly Intimidation :D
GM: We'll call it an Armed Grapple with the knife.
Marik: I'm not sure I can do a Wait post-grapple.
Marik: Sounds good. Both hands!
GM: If she tries to break free or anything, he can do thrusting damage with it.
Minnizig: Close enough really.
Marik: I should probably take the -5 for neck, then!
GM: You were totally covered by the Telegraph.
Minnizig: halved for grappling.
Beltarne: Halved for grappling, yeah>
GM: Done?
Marik: Yeah, only -3. :D
Beltarne: ((jinx, you owe me a coke))
Marik: Done!

4) YOUR TURN NOW:: [25] Beltarne
(on deck: [24] Wolfgang)

Minnizig: (( I'll totally just run one over to your house. Yeah. ))

GM: approaching, round 2 of 3.

6) YOUR TURN NOW:: [24] Minnizig
(on deck: [24] Harpies)

Minnizig: "Oh great, we can all be worried togeather. WHY are your friends chasing our friend?"
Harpy (Sofia): "Whatever are you talking about?"
GM: Action?
** Thasos points in the direction of Marik. **
GM: Still all-out defending?
GM: Got eaten by her cat, I guess.

7) YOUR TURN NOW:: [24] Harpies
(on deck: [29] Ghazeb)

Harpy (Thyomemenia): Keep singing.
Marik: ((What's the current mana level?))
GM: Wild for Marik.
Minnizig: Sorry. Yeah, cat's all over the place. Still AoD.
Harpy (Eidia): Keep singing.
Minnizig: Wild for Marik, Normal here? Funky chicken colored?
GM: Aspected High, but not for any Bardic colleges.
Minnizig: k.
Harpy (Peinasmenia): Jump/flap a bit. "Let her go!" Move S of Marik.
Harpy (Metria): "Do not be hasty!"

1) YOUR TURN NOW:: [29] Ghazeb
(on deck: [28] Thasos)

** Ghazeb dances in a circle, and looks around. **
Ghazeb: ##

2) YOUR TURN NOW:: [28] Thasos
(on deck: [28] Marik)

Marik: "This is the opposite of explaining yourselves. We had a deal; why are you breaking it?"
Beltarne: ((Heh))
Thasos: wait
Thasos: ##

3) YOUR TURN NOW:: [28] Marik
(on deck: [25] Beltarne)

Marik: Wait; if any of the harpies gets any closer, or if Metria tries anything but talking, put the knife through her throat.
GM: Check!
Marik: "And stop that singing! If I wanted to be hasty, you'd be dead."
Marik: ###

4) YOUR TURN NOW:: [25] Beltarne
(on deck: [24] Wolfgang)

Beltarne: More AoD(Double)!!!
GM: Heh
Beltarne: ###

5) YOUR TURN NOW:: [24] Wolfgang
(on deck: [24] Minnizig)

Narrator: Wolfgang flies down to where 3 harpies are singing and another is being held hostage by Marik.
Wolfgang: I'm there at the beginning or end of this turn?
GM: End of the turn.
Wolfgang: OK
GM: You can set your height and weapon load-out, though. They're all on the ground.
Wolfgang: Shield and pole-arm
GM: okay.

6) YOUR TURN NOW:: [24] Minnizig
(on deck: [24] Harpies)

Wolfgang: hook, grip
Minnizig: "You're avoiding answering me - this does not inspire feelings of trust and safety. The harpies that flew off after the elf. Why?"
Minnizig: AOD: Dodge continues! Minnizig is poised on toetips.

7) YOUR TURN NOW:: [24] Harpies
(on deck: [29] Ghazeb)

Harpy (Eidia): Sings some more. Ranged Malediction of Europhia on Marik and Wolfgang [3d6.skill(14)] => [1,6,5] = 12 vs (14) or less Success! by 2
GM: Wolfgang resists at Will -1, Marik at Will+2 for his improvised ear-plugs.
Marik: Will: [3d6.skill(11,+2)] => [6,3,3] = 12 vs (13) or less Success! by 1
Wolfgang: Will (10) [3d6.skill(10,-1)] => [2,5,6] = 13 vs (9) or less Failure! by 4
Wolfgang: luck
Wolfgang: Will (10) [3d6.skill(10,-1)] => [2,1,6] = 9 vs (9) or less Success! by 0
Wolfgang: Will (10) [3d6.skill(10,-1)] => [5,2,3] = 10 vs (9) or less Failure! by 1
Narrator: 3 singing harpies appear behind the trees by Sofia.
Marik: ((Was that Will+2 accounting for her MoS?))
Harpy (Thyomemenia): Ranged Malediction of Europhia at the other delvers [3d6.skill(14)] => [6,2,1] = 9 vs (14) or less Success! by 5
GM: Marik: yes.
Marik: ((Just confused because it was +4 earlier.))
Ghazeb: Will (10) [3d6.skill(10,0)] => [2,6,5] = 13 vs (10) or less Failure! by 3
GM: Other delvers resist with Will-3
GM: Marik: yeah, they've been rolling for CRAP.
Minnizig: Will (13) [3d6.skill(13,-3)] => [2,2,3] = 7 vs (10) or less Success! by 3
Beltarne: Will (14) [3d6.skill(14,-3)] => [1,5,5] = 11 vs (11) or less Success! by 0
Ghazeb: Will (10) [3d6.skill(10,0)] => [4,4,1] = 9 vs (10) or less Success! by 1
Ghazeb: Will (10) [3d6.skill(10,0)] => [4,2,3] = 9 vs (10) or less Success! by 1
Thasos: Will (10) [3d6.skill(10,0)] => [4,4,3] = 11 vs (10) or less Failure! by 1
Ghazeb: ((failed them all wtg luck))
Ghazeb: ((Ghazeb was dancing anyway.))
GM: Thasos and Ghazeb are entranced by the music, giving them a -3 to DX, IQ, and self-control rolls.
Harpy (Sofia): "I really don't know what you're talking about, little one." Advances on Minnizig
Harpy (Metria): Feint against Marik! [3d6.skill(16)] => [5,1,1] = 7 vs (16) or less Success! by 9
and then grab his arm [3d6.skill(14,-1)] => [4,4,1] = 9 vs (13) or less Success! by 4

Harpy (Metria): (feint was last turn, by the way)
GM: Marik can make his attack off the wait before she grabs him, of course.
Marik: Wait action triggers?
GM: Right.
Marik: Does the attack take the location penalty for neck, or is that free since the knife was there?
GM: Grappling penalty, -2.
Marik: Knife: with extra effort (strong) [3d6.skill(16,-2)] => [6,6,4] = 16 vs (14) or less Failure! by 2
Marik: Oh you have GOT to be kidding me.
Marik: Luck's still down.
Narrator: Metria cautiously slides a hand up, grabbing at Marik's wrist before he can cut her with his knife.
Wolfgang: :(
Marik: And you don't get to complain about harpy rolls anymore.
GM: Want to resist that feint and the grapple?
GM: Actually, she should be at -4 on both those rolls for Marik's grapple.
Marik: Resist Feint (Bow): [3d6.skill(20,-9)] => [3,2,1] = 6 vs (11) or less Success! by 5
GM: You can't resist feints with a ranged skill, can you?
GM: Did I make that ruling? I mean, if I did, I was high, but I'll stick with it...
Marik: If not, then Knife, success by 1.
Marik: I thought it was just 'highest combat skill'.
GM: Pretty sure it's highest melee.
Marik: Though if that's the case, I'd like people to not be resisting my ranged feints with their melee skills, tyvm.
Marik: Either way, my 6 makes it.
GM: Resist is best melee.
Ghazeb: ((Door, AFK a min. Ghazeb will turn back around and AoD if he can.))
GM: Roll defense, then.
Marik: ...I'm pretty sure I can acrobatically dodge while I'm grappling someone.
GM: No, actually you can't.
Marik: Alas. Extra effort dodge.
Marik: Dodge: [3d6.skill(10,+2)] => [4,5,1] = 10 vs (12) or less Success! by 2
Harpy (Peinasmenia): Fly/step and attack Marik, clawing at his right arm with big talons [3d6.skill(16,-2-2)] => [2,1,6] = 9 vs (12) or less Success! by 3
Marik: Can I parry with Metria?
GM: Uhm. Sure, why not. Brawling at -2.
Ghazeb: (( I say Yes))
Marik: Brawling Parry (extra effort): [3d6.skill(10,+2-2)] => [3,3,6] = 12 vs (10) or less Failure! by 2
Marik: Alas.
GM: Or a grappling skill at no penalty, I'll totally let you do it with a Wrestling thing.
GM: Does that help?
Marik: 8 min to luck, too.
GM: Okay. Oh, well.
Marik: Makes it success by 1.
GM: Oh, right.
Marik: Wait, no.
Marik: ARGH MATH.
GM: Actually, at no bonus, but whatever.
Marik: One sec.
Marik: Success by 0 I think.
Harpy (Peinasmenia): Half damage to her own ally! [(2d6+5)/2] => 4.0 vs DR6
GM: Oh, and Marik does thrust damage for free (this once) against Metria for the knife to her neck.
Marik: Bounces off her DR.
GM: Oops.
Marik: Unless she's got lower DR against steel for some reason.
GM: No, but the feathers look lighter on her wings.
Beltarne: ((Tink!))

1) YOUR TURN NOW:: [29] Ghazeb
(on deck: [28] Thasos)

Ghazeb: Turn AoD.
Marik: ((Sorry, their skin is like plate armor. I can barely hurt them with ARROWS never mind the knife.))
Ghazeb: ((can I move at all ?))
GM: Sure, you can do anything you like, you're just at -3 on IQ, DX, and Will rolls.
GM: BTW, Thasos needs to make a self-control roll for Bad Temper.
Minnizig: AoD Dodge allows half move
Minnizig: AoD else allows a step
Thasos: Resist Bad Temper (15-) [3d6.skill(15,0)] => [6,5,3] = 14 vs (15) or less Success! by 1 Note: can trigger Berserk
Thasos: wait, that's actually failure
Thasos: forgot the -3
Ghazeb: ((K))
GM: Thasos is a little frustrating that the pretty music is INVADING HIS MIND. He goes Berserk.
Ghazeb: ((Sorry but why is Thasos getting angry?))
Marik: And Euphoric.
Marik: Which is awesome.
** Thasos snorts loudly and stomps his feet. **
Marik: He's very HAPPILY berserk.
** Ghazeb keeps dancing, just a little. **
Thasos: ((BTW is that grass or a bush between me and Sofia?))
GM: Just grass, Thasos.

2) YOUR TURN NOW:: [28] Thasos
(on deck: [28] Marik)

** Thasos lowers his head and charges straight at Sofia. **
GM: Yep, I can see that.
GM: All-out move and attack slamming with horns!
Thasos: hell yeah!
GM: roll brawling or DX to hit.
Thasos: DX (16) [3d6.skill(16,-3)] => [4,1,5] = 10 vs (13) or less Success! by 3
Harpy (Sofia): "Aiee!" Dodge and retreat [3d6.skill(10,3)] => [3,4,2] = 9 vs (13) or less Success! by 4

3) YOUR TURN NOW:: [28] Marik
(on deck: [25] Beltarne)

** Thasos cackles with insane glee! **
Marik: Hm.
Marik: Can I Ready the bow and fast-draw and fast-ready an arrow?
GM: Nope. Fast-ready an arrow only on an attack.
GM: Alternately, yes, but you still have the -3 penalty on the attack.
Marik: Right. Release Metria, step back, ready the bow, and fast-draw an arrow.
Marik: I will totally take the -3 on the attack.
Marik: So yeah. Release Metria (free action). Step, ready (action), fast-draw, fast-ready.
GM: Great,

4) YOUR TURN NOW:: [25] Beltarne
(on deck: [24] Wolfgang)

Marik: ###
Beltarne: Moves towards the singing harpies.
Beltarne: "I think we're past the point of explanations, don't you lass?" to Minnizig
Beltarne: ###

5) YOUR TURN NOW:: [24] Wolfgang
(on deck: [24] Minnizig)

Wolfgang: step and hook Eidia's wing
GM: okay.
Wolfgang: -2 for wing
Wolfgang: Dueling Bill * polearm hook [3d6.skill(16,-2)] => [4,6,3] = 13 vs (14) or less Success! by 1
Marik: ((Oh, and there's a knife on the ground in Metria's hex, for all the good it'll do.))
Wolfgang: she's at -3 for height, -2 runaround
Harpy (Eidia): Dodge and retreat! [3d6.skill(10,3-3-2)] => [6,2,1] = 9 vs (8) or less Failure! by 1
Wolfgang: Dueling Bill * polearm hook [1d6+2] => [3,2] = (5) cut
Wolfgang: -1 for 1H
Wolfgang: so 4
GM: you scratch her wing feathers, drawing black blood.
GM: and her hook, for whatever that does.
Wolfgang: and she's hooked!

6) YOUR TURN NOW:: [24] Minnizig
(on deck: [24] Harpies)

Wolfgang: basically grappled
** Minnizig sings "Willfully ignorant as can be / none so blind as will not see!" starting an improvised countersong. **
Minnizig: Singing (17) [3d6.skill(17,0)] => [6,3,2] = 11 vs (17) or less Success! by 6 Includes: +2 from 'Musical Ability', +2 from 'Voice'
Minnizig: with whatever penalties.
Minnizig: And step back!
GM: Uhm.
GM: Ghazeb and Thasos can reroll Will at -3.
Marik: ((Hooked: Not grappled. On successive turns you can try to drag your opponent off-balance or knock them down. Quick Contest of ST; if you win, you drive your opponent to their knees. If they're already on their knees or crouching, they're knocked prone. They can't stand up until you release them or they break free, using standard rules.))
Marik: ((MA75))
Thasos: Will (10) [3d6.skill(10,-3)] => [3,2,2] = 7 vs (7) or less Success! by 0
** Thasos froths at the mouth a bit less happily. **
GM: Right, now he's just frothing.
GM: Ghazeb?
Ghazeb: sorry
Marik: ((He was AFK for the door.))
Ghazeb: Will (10) [3d6.skill(10,-3)] => [5,2,5] = 12 vs (7) or less Failure! by 5
GM: Right.

7) YOUR TURN NOW:: [24] Harpies
